Add the butter and two sugars to a bowl and beat until light and creamy.
Add in the egg and vanilla and mix well.
Add in the plain flour, baking powder and salt and beat into a dough.
Add in the chocolate chips, Daim and mix until evenly distributed.
Divide the dough into 8 equal parts by weighing carefully.
Roll into balls, add the pretzels to the tops and place into the freezer for at least 30 minutes.
Preheat your oven to 180ºc fan.
Take your cookies out of the freezer and place on a lined baking tray.
Bake the cookies in the oven for 12-14 minutes - Once baked, leave them to cool on the tray for at least 30 minutes before eating!
