A decadent twist on a classic treat, this indulgent dessert combines the rich flavours of Cadbury Creme Eggs with the comforting sweetness of a blondie. Add
the chocolate, vanilla and butter to a medium non-stick frying pan. Let the
chocolate melt over a low heat.
Add
the sugar and mix until it has completely dissolved.
Add
the eggs, one at a time, and mix well with the help of a spatula.
Fold
in the flour, baking powder and salt.
Pour
the mixture into a 25 cm x 18 cm baking tray, previously greased with butter.
Bake
in a preheated oven to 180°C/160°C fan/gas mark 4 for about 20 mins.
Transfer
to a wire rack and leave to cool down.
Add
the blondies and cream cheese to a mixing bowl and beat together until well
combined.
Divide
the mixture into 10 equal balls. Flatten each ball in the palm of your hand.
Put a cream egg in the middle then wrap the blondie mixture around it.
Repeat
with the remaining creme eggs
Pour
the sprinkles onto a large plate.
Dampen
your hand, roll each egg in your hands so that it becomes a bit wet and sticky.
Coat with the sprinkles.
