Golden Glucose Syrup

Directions

1. Dissolve the sugar and water in a pan, cook until the mixture starts to slowly boil

2. Add the cream of tartar, lemon and salt 

3. Cook for a further 10 minutes, making sure to stir constantly, to achieve a thick consistency

4. You do not want to over cook it, otherwise your syrup will harden too much when it cools down

5. Once your mixture has thicken, let it cool down and transfer into an airtight jar. You can keep your syrup for up to 3 months in the fridge
