FONDANT ICING SUGAR
Aflexible sugar paste allowing you to create shapes, coat or protect a cake. Differs from icing sugars, as it contains dried glucose syrup which gives its unique texture. Just add some water to the mixture to create a smooth, glossy and soft paste.

Ingredients: Icing Sugar, Dried Glucose Syrup.
HOW TO MAKE MODELLING ICING
- Sieve 500g of Whitworths Fondant Icing into a large bow (reserve 2 or 3 tablespoons)
- Make a well in the centre and add 2 tablespoons of water. Using a wooden spoon, mix the sugar and the water to form a smooth paste
- Gradually draw in more of the fondant icing sugar to create a thick paste. If necessary, add more drops of water and continue mixing until the mixture forms a ball (it should not be sticky of too dry)
- Transfer to a clean work surface with the reserved icing sugar and knead until smooth. Either roll the modelling icing and cut out shapes or shape by hand
HOW TO MAKE SOFT FONDANT ICING
- Sieve 500g of Whitworths Fondant Icing into a large bowl with 6 tablespoons of water
- Blend to form a smooth paste.
- Add more drops of water until the icing is thick, but can still be spooned onto your cakes and naturally spreads out without running over the edges
- This will produce enough fondant icing to decorate 24 cupcakes or 2 large cakes!
